Het blok van vier herenhuizen, Dreef 24-30, werd in 1880 gebouwd naar ontwerp van Haarlemse architect A. van der Steur jr. in (Franse) neorenaissance stijl. De woningen waren bedoeld voor welgestelden en zijn dan ook ontworpen met een bel-etage. Chic gelegen tegenover paviljoen welgelegen, het huidige provinciehuis, waar Lodewijk Napoleon als vorst heeft geregeerd.
De conversie van deze 4 herenhuizen tot 16 luxe appartementen is met zorg gedaan door Cobraspen. Stijl elementen zijn behouden, en daar is het luxe comfort van nu aan toegevoegd.
